last night was a pretty rough night of drinking haha... it was good to see friends we don't frequently hang out with due to location. with that being said, it definitely affected our performance in the gym and made it somewhat painful haha. this morning HD and i split our session up into (1) overhead presses, (2) a superset, and (3) a moderate row.
overhead presses
5reps/85lbs, 5reps/135lbs, 5reps/135lbs, 5reps/135lbs, 5reps/135lbs
i don't understand how doing this low-rep lift made me sweat a lot... haha so i attribute this to the alcohol.
next, superset
incline bench presses- 10reps/135lbs, 8reps/135lbs, 6reps/135lbs
supinated hammer curls- 12reps/30lbs, 10reps/30lbs, 8reps/30lbs
i felt pretty weak doing the incline bench presses. i was aiming to do a 12-10-8, but couldn't get it done today. that's what i get. however, HD was killing it.
last, moderate row
2.5 km
i finished in a little over 12 minutes and HD finished about 45sec to a minute before me. although we weren't doing this for time, HD is really a better rower than me. if we didn't go out last night, we planned to do 5km for time, but at this point, we were pretty drained.
i'm currently in philadelphia for a wedding, so i am dreading tomorrow's session haha. this year's thanksgiving weekend has taken a toll on my body... not in a good way. i have no one to blame but myself... the choices one makes in life...
